Meet Kung Xiaozhu: Four-season action figures and seven plush looks

Updated: Oct 29, 2026

Kung Xiaozhu (The Little Mistress of Prince Kung's Palace), the little princess from the "Little Blessings Family" (Xiaofu Jiazu), an original character series created by Prince Kung's Palace Museum, is now available as collectible figures and plush toys.

The new collection includes four action figures inspired by the changing seasons at Prince Kung's Palace and the life of Princess Hexiao (1775-1823) of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), a former resident of the palace famous for her equestrian and archery skills. Also joining the collection are seven plush toys named "Furong Xiaozhu", each dressed in a different outfit that combines traditional Chinese cultural elements with contemporary design.

Four seasons at Prince Kung's Palace: Four action figures (149 yuan each/$22.40)

Each figure captures a different seasonal mood through its clothing, accessories, and decorative details.

The spring figure wears a red robe patterned with blossoms and holds a bow and a flower-wrapped arrow, reflecting Princess Hexiao's skill in horseback riding and archery. For summer, Kung Xiaozhu appears in a black dress with white mottled bamboo motifs, holding a traditional Chinese folding fan. The autumn figure wears a green qipao decorated with auspicious bat motifs based on those in the palace's architecture. In winter, she wears a light blue cloak, sitting with her eyes closed and holding a plum blossom branch.

Together, the four figures reinterpret the palace's architecture, gardens, decorative motifs, and seasonal scenery through a contemporary collectible design.

For those who prefer a softer companion, Furong Xiaozhu brings the character to life in a plush form. Inspired by the museum's "Kung Fashion" designs, its seven versions feature different outfits that blend traditional Chinese elements with contemporary style, offering a fresh look for every day of the week.

With their soft textures and distinctive outfits, the plush toys make charming companions and gift options, while bringing the character's auspicious symbolism into everyday life.

The Kung Xiaozhu action figures and Furong Xiaozhu plush toys, along with other cultural and creative products from Prince Kung's Palace Museum, are available at the Chamber of Mental Purification (Chenghuai Xiexiu) in the museum's garden. Each design offers a playful way to discover the palace's cultural heritage.
