1. Opening hours

8:30 am-5 pm 

Last ticket sale: 4 pm

Last admission: 4:10 pm

Closed Mondays (except public holidays)


2. Getting here

Parking near Prince Kung's Palace Museum is limited. Visitors are encouraged to use public transportation.


3. Visitor services

The Visitor Service Center, located east of Gate No 1, provides visitor information, luggage storage, complaint and feedback services, mobile phone charging, hot drinking water, and wheelchair and stroller loans. A dedicated service counter for senior visitors is also available.


4. Guided tours

Visitors can hire a museum guide or rent audio guides on either side of Palace Gate One (Tougong Men). Self-service audio guide rental lockers are available at Palace Gate Two (Ergong Men).


5. Family facilities

The nursing room and unisex/family restroom are located on the east side of the entrance courtyard.


6. First aid

The First Aid Station is located in the first courtyard along the eastern building complex of the residence. If you need medical assistance during your visit, please call: (+86-10) 8328 5575 or 120.


7. Visitor guidelines

Prince Kung's Palace Museum is a national foremost protected cultural heritage site. To help preserve this historical landmark and ensure a pleasant visit for everyone, please observe the following guidelines: 

• Lighters and all kinds of hazardous items are strictly prohibited.

• Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes, is prohibited throughout the museum.

• Please queue in an orderly manner during busy periods and keep quiet while inside exhibition halls.

• For your safety, please do not feed or touch stray cats, wild birds, or other animals you encounter with at the museum.

• Please do not climb on rockeries, walls, or historical structures. Please watch your step, as the museum includes uneven pathways and stone steps.

• Keep a safe distance from ponds and waterside pavilions, and do not play near the water.

• Help protect the museum's historical gardens by refraining from picking flowers or carving on plants or buildings.


8. Complimentary Wi-Fi

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the museum. Visitors can connect to "FreeWIFI" to access the service.
