On Feb 18 (the second day of the first month in the Year of the Horse), the "Tracing Blessings" themed market officially opened at the forecourt of Prince Kung's Palace Museum, offering visitors an innovative and immersive festive experience that blends cultural depth with vibrant fun.

At the entrance, an elegantly designed bronze bell installation welcomes visitors. With a gentle ring, guests may make their New Year wishes and ceremoniously begin their journey of "seeking blessings."

Inside the market, diverse interactive booths invite active participation. At the "Fu" (blessing) character writing area, visitors create their own "Fu" character calligraphy works under professional guidance, bringing home symbols of good fortune. The pitch-pot (touhu) game area revives a traditional pastime, enabling participants to experience the ancient activity through arrow tossing.

A specially arranged temple fair in the market presents nearly 200 cultural and creative products developed by the museum. Each item blends distinctive cultural symbols of Prince Kung's Palace and ingenious design, bringing traditions into everyday life that are both meaningful and accessible.

The "Tracing Blessings" market represents an innovative practice that weaves together the palace's architectural legacy, auspicious symbolism of the horse zodiac, and heartfelt Spring Festival wishes. Building on this endeavor, the museum will continue to develop programs that combine cultural heritage with interactive engagement, inviting visitors to experience the warmth and vitality of Chinese culture.
