Location: East Sector 2

As an extension of the ironed paper model (tangyang) exhibition hosted by Prince Kung's Palace Museum last year, this new presentation showcases the collaborative research and reproduction of traditional paper models carried out by faculty and students from the School of Architecture at Tsinghua University and the Institute of Architecture at Technische Universität Berlin.

Through hands-on, cross-cultural collaboration, the research team has drawn inspiration from the architectural philosophy and construction techniques embodied in the models, contributing to both the preservation and contemporary re-interpretation of this distinctively Chinese architectural legacy.

Students of the Sino-German research team were also invited to work alongside the museum's young curators in organizing the exhibition, demonstrating a vivid practice of the museum's curatorial initiative, "My territory, your call."
