Prince Kung's Palace Museum has always been delving into and interpreting the essence of traditional Chinese culture by relying on its rich collections. Guided by this mission, the museum continues to develop cultural and creative products that complement its exhibitions and extend its role in cultural dissemination.
The museum is now pleased to announce the upgraded launch of its online flagship store on Tmall – Alibaba Group's leading business-to-customer platform. With the vision of "bringing the museum into everyday life", the upgraded store broadens the museum's signature "Fu" (blessings) theme from its historical garden into the online realm.
The renewed store highlights the innovative renewal of traditional "Fu" culture, introducing four major lines of themed products that combine collectible appeal with daily practicality.
"Handy Blessings" Series

According to folklore, the "Fu" (blessings) inscription found in the Cave of Mysterious Clouds in Prince Kung's Palace Museum's garden was handwritten by Emperor Kangxi (r. 1662–1722) during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) as a prayer for his grandmother, Empress Dowager Xiaozhuang (1613-88). Endowed with deep filial devotion and heartfelt wishes, it became known as "The Greatest Blessing Under Heaven".
Folk culture specialists observe that the inscription's flowing brushstrokes embody five auspicious meanings — abundance of descendants, talent, land, longevity, and fortune — earning it the reputation of a "blessing of longevity". More than an artistic heritage, it stands as a witness to people's enduring yearning for a better life throughout the ages.
"Garden Architecture" Series

Drawing inspiration from the unique architectural elements of Prince Kung's Palace Museum, this series features crafted items such as fridge magnets and keychains. These small yet meaningful objects carry the residence's auspicious symbolism – inviting good fortune home and accompanying users in their daily lives.
"Garden Flora" Series

The garden of Prince Kung's Palace Museum, also known as "Garden of Gathered Splendor", is celebrated for its elegant design, where seasonal blooms flourish among rocks and trees. Among its many plants, the begonia and the wisteria stand out as signature floral emblems of the museum, inspiring a range of botanical-themed products.
"Wearable Blessings" Series

Drawing from the abundant auspicious motifs found throughout the museum and combining them with the "Greatest Blessing Under Heaven", this series symbolizes the arrival of manifold blessings and the gathering of good fortune in abundance.
