Prince Kung's Palace Museum participated in the China Culture & Tourism Industries Expo that opened in Wuhan, Hubei province on Sept 12, 2025, offering visitors a cultural feast.

With its booth designed into its well-received signature "Green Box" as exhibition space, it became a cultural attraction and drew wide attention during the expo.

The booth – in the museum's typical green hue, the dominant color of the palace's roof tiles – reinterprets classical architectural elements in a contemporary way. At the entrance, a screen wall featuring the Chinese character "Fu" inscribed by Emperor Kangxi (r. 1662-1722) of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) which is hidden in the garden of Prince Kung's Palace, invites visitors into a space traversing history by applying modern deconstruction techniques.

The space is further furnished with auspicious symbols: at its left side, the design echoes the museum's iconic and massive Western-style Gate, while the right side showcases one of the assorted patterned windows of the Rear Building – in the shape of a bat, a qing (a traditional Chinese percussion instrument) and a fish, symbolizing abundant blessings and fortunes. On the inner walls are line drawings of the museum's scenery across the four seasons, sending blessings to visitors throughout the year.

This immersive space blends traditional heritage with modern aesthetics, resembling a gift box filled with nearly 100 original cultural and creative products and souvenirs released by the museum in recent years.

From silk works inspired by Chinese lifestyle aesthetics and everyday articles such as the Crabapple Home Fragrance Collection, to the award-winning "Fu" tea – recipient of the 14th Hiiibrand Awards for its unique design – the latest "Kung Fashion" apparel, and the "Kung Xiaozhu" (The little princess of Prince Kung's Palace) collectible dolls, these products vividly reflect the museum's vision of "bringing ancient treasures to life".
