The museum's exhibition Elegance and Style: A Dialogue between Prince Kung's Palace Museum and Chinese Fashion Culture was awarded the prestigious "Exhibition Space Renewal of the Year" award at the Fashion China Night, an event of the 2025 China Annual Trends Summit held in Shanghai recently.
Su Ning, deputy director of Prince Kung's Palace Museum, was invited to participate in the roundtable session on June 12 during the event's thematic dialogues, where she shared insights on enhancing the competitiveness of Chinese fashion events and brands.
The award-winning exhibition reimagines the palace's architectural spaces by integrating bespoke fashion, digital art, and intangible cultural heritage crafts. This bold fusion of historical architecture and avant-garde design offers a new paradigm for fashion exhibitions and reflects contemporary Chinese designers' reinterpretation of traditional culture.
Originally showcased in Singapore in November 2024, the exhibition impressed global audiences with the contemporary vitality of Chinese aesthetics. The domestic tour will begin in July at Prince Kung's Palace Museum, continuing to explore Chinese lifestyle aesthetics from a fresh perspective.
