Prince Kung's Palace Museum's Anshan Hall-themed traditional lifestyle aesthetic gallery has been honored at the Art Display China & Crystal Kylin Awards.
The museum won the Interior Design Excellence Award at the 15th edition of the highly-regarded event.
Nestled in the museum's garden, the gallery blends narrative-driven design with immersive technology. It explores Chinese culture through the seasons of the year, showcasing handcrafted works that exemplify Eastern aesthetics and the philosophy of "objects carrying meaning". This dynamic blend of culture and innovation creates an engaging, interactive space, transforming the traditional display and retail paradigm.
In September 2024, the gallery's immersive design and cultural storytelling went global, debuting its first international exhibition at the China Cultural Center in Riga, Latvia – sharing the charm of traditional Chinese culture with the world.
The Design China & Crystal Kylin Award was established in 2010 under the academic guidance of the China National Interior Decoration Association's Art Display & Decoration Committee.
Winning this award is not only a recognition of the exceptional achievements of the gallery's design team but also a highlight of the museum's pioneering efforts in merging traditional lifestyle aesthetics with modern design concepts.
