Pavilion of Deep Autumn

The Pavilion of Deep Autumn, also known as the Floating Cup Pavilion, was built for literary gatherings. Eastern Jin Dynasty (317-420) calligrapher Wang Xizhi's Preface to the Orchid Pavilion. A water channel within the pavilion, shaped like both "water" and "longevity" characters, symbolizes eternal life.
