Pavilion of Deep Autumn

The Pavilion of Deep Autumn, also known as the Floating Cup Pavilion, was built for literary gatherings. The pavilion's design is inspired by Jin Dynasty (265-420) calligrapher Wang Xizhi's Preface to the Orchid Pavilion Gathering. A water channel within the pavilion, shaped like both "water" and "longevity" characters, symbolizes eternal life.
