Origin and history

Since the performance of Six Records of a Floating Life by the Jiangsu Kunqu Opera Theatre at the Grand Theatre of Prince Kung’s Palace Museum in 2008, “Echoes of Classics – Prince Kung’s Palace Museum Intangible Cultural Heritage Performance Season” has been held 16 times. It has become a prominent cultural brand during China’s annual Cultural and Natural Heritage Day.

In 2017, the 10th “Echoes of Classics – Prince Kung’s Palace Museum Intangible Cultural Heritage Performance Season” was held at the Grand Theatre.
