Forms of theatrical arts in the event

Every year, during the “Echoes of Classics – Prince Kung’s Palace Museum Intangible Cultural Heritage Performance Season”, guqin zither recitals and Kunqu Opera are performed.

In the 2015 ICH Performance Season, for the first time, a special session featuring the guqin and nanyin (a musical performing art from East China’s Fujian province, performed on wind, string and percussion instruments) was organized, showcasing a harmonious dialogue between these 2,000-year-old art forms.
