The long narrow table is made from Huanghuali wood. Under the tabletop there is a contracted waist, outward-curving aprons, and four straight legs with inward-curving horse-hoof feet. There is a curvilinear brace at the inner side of each leg connecting to the inside of the tabletop. It used to be collected by Gustav Ecke, a German scholar, and was donated to Prince Kung’s Palace Museum by his wife Zeng Youhe (known as Betty Ecke) in 2006.
