Brush Drawing Style in Golden Autumn: Zhang Kuijie and Li Liusan Chinese Brush Drawing Exhibition

 

In golden October, embraced by glamorous sunshine, Zhang Kuijie and Li Liusan Chinese Brush Drawing Exhibition was formally held in the art salon gallery of the Prince Kung’s Mansion from Sep. 30th to Oct. 8th.

 

The exhibition exhibited nearly 50 drawing works of these two artists. Mr. Zhang Kuijie is working in central authorities. He wholeheartedly devoted himself to development of the Chinese traditional brush drawing besides great burden of work, and was nurtured by Mr. Li Shaowen, tutor of PH.D students of the China Central Academy of Fine Arts. His works expresses broad vision, elegant and tasteful. Landscape, figure, birds and flowers drawing and calligraphy all show high artistic cultivation and accomplishment of this artist Mr. Li Liusan has worked with the National Museum for many years. He was unwilling to miss every chance when encountering any artist in work. In his long years of artistic creation, his works is not restricted by regulations; brush drawing is suitable in color, and calligraphy grand and magnificent.

 

These two artists’ fine works will bring high-quality artistic enjoyment to audience from both home and aboard during Mid-autumn and National Day’s holiday, and also add artistic atmosphere to the Prince Kung’s Mansion during national holidays.
