Style of the Western Regions: Li Yi Figure Drawing Exhibition

 

Style of the Western Regions: Li Yi Figure Drawing Exhibition is to be held from Oct. 10th to Nov. 10th in the art salon gallery of the Prince Kung’s Mansion. This exhibition will exhibit more than 30 pieces of figure drawings by artist Mr. Li Yi.

 

Mr. Li Yi is member of the Chinese Artists Association, councilman of the China National Academy of Painting, committee member of the Guoyun Wenhua Art Academy Figure Drawing Committee of the Center of International Cultural Exchange of the Ministry of Culture of China, China charity artist. He was born in Jiangsu Province and is now living in Beijing. He was cultivated by China famous artists Mr. Feng Yuan, Mr. Li Baofeng and Mr. Du Ziling, and engaged in further study in Du Ziling Studio of the Chinese Painting Research Institute first figure drawing senior class and figure drawing senior class of the Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts. In order to do painting, he aalmost went to every corner of Xinjiang and Gansu regions. He did a lot of quick sketches. Through processing and refining to real life, his Western Frontier figure drawing is simple, natural, clean and pure, like breeze of the Western Regions and white clouds on mountains, pure and tranquil, no intention to express happiness or sadness and no strengthening to bitter or sweet. The only thing he does is naturally and purely showing harmonious and natural people’s life in western frontiers to audience with strong western regions’ style. Unique way of brush drawing and motional picture composition contain implicit, delicate or untrammeled passion, full of complement to the beauty of life.

 

Heads of the Prince Kung’s Mansion Management Center of the Ministry of Culture of China have accompanied Ambassador of Slovakia and other friends in artistic circles to attend this exhibition.

 

Li Yi Figure Drawing Exhibition sings the praise of the unification and friendship of the Chinese Nationality, and also add artistic atmosphere to the Prince Kung’s Mansion.
